Vaultline

Vaultline Privacy Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

Vaultline is provided by Bedrock Group LLC. It stores credentials that you choose to add, such as API keys, tokens, connection strings, and logins.

Your vault

Your vault is encrypted on your device. Search, import parsing, and vendor detection run locally. Vaultline does not require a Vaultline account, include advertising or analytics, or send your secret content to a server operated by Bedrock Group LLC.

Device authentication

If you choose Face ID or Touch ID, Apple handles the biometric check. Vaultline does not receive or store your face or fingerprint data or your device passcode. A separate vault password is checked locally.

Optional iCloud sync

If you enable sync, Vaultline encrypts your vault using a key derived from your master password before storing it in your private iCloud database. The encrypted vault and the parameters needed to derive its encryption key are stored through Apple's iCloud service. Your master password is not sent to iCloud or to Bedrock Group LLC. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases, subscriptions, and restoration through StoreKit. Vaultline uses verified purchase information to determine which features are available. Bedrock Group LLC does not receive your payment card details through the app.

Copying, sharing, and backups

When you copy a secret, it is placed on the device clipboard with an expiration time you choose. Vaultline cannot remove content you have already pasted into another app. If you share a secret, its unencrypted value is sent to the destination you select. Exported backups are encrypted with a password you choose and saved to your selected destination.

Notifications

Expiry and rotation reminders use local notifications. Notification text does not include secret names or values.

Deleting data

You can delete individual secrets or clear your vault in Settings. When sync is enabled, deletions are synchronized with your iCloud vault. To stop future syncing, turn off iCloud sync in Settings. Turning sync off does not itself delete the encrypted copy in iCloud. To synchronize secret deletions, clear the vault while sync is enabled and confirm that sync completes. Backups you exported remain in the locations where you saved them until you delete those files.

You can turn notifications off in Vaultline or in your device settings. Apple controls retention of purchase records and iCloud service data under its policies.

Passwords

There is no password recovery service. Keep your vault, sync, and backup passwords safe.

If you contact support, do not include passwords, API keys, tokens, or other secret values in your message or screenshots. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them. You can contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any records we need to keep for legal obligations.

These support pages do not include advertising, analytics scripts, or contact forms. The hosting service processes network information, such as your IP address and browser request, to deliver and secure the pages. This is separate from the contents of your vault.
